Joe Daou is a Lebanese conductor, violist, musicologist, and Organ specialist. Since 2012, he has conducted several ensembles and choirs in Lebanon. He also is a co-founder and main conductor of Les Cordes Résonnantes ensemble. Mr. Daou is a graduate of Notre Dame University in Lebanon (Master’s in musicology) and the Lebanese University (Engineering Diploma), he also studied at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Currently he is pursuing further studies in conducting at Conservatorio Arrigo Boito di Parma with Prof. Pietro Veneri. He subsequently developed his skills in conducting and early music interpretation in Italy and France. Being a distinguished engineer as well as a musician, Mr. Daou is currently the leading Pipe Organ builder and restorer in the Middle East
