Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Nairy Ghazarian started her musical studies in cello performance at an early age. After studying in Lebanon, she continued her bachelors and master’s diploma with honor in teaching and performing arts, specifically as a cellist at Komitas State National Conservatory of Yerevan (2011-2019), with Professor Armen Mesropyan. Meanwhile she is an active participant in different solo, chamber music and orchestral concerts in Lebanon, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania and Armenia. A deputy first prize winner at international music competition Grand prize virtuoso in chamber music. A principal cellist and an assistant director at Les Cordes Résonnantes chamber music ensemble in Lebanon. Nairy Ghazarian has pursued numerous masterclasses with well-known cellists such as Richard Walfische, Julien Laferiere and others. She has a successful teaching career at several music institutions in Lebanon, in addition to her practical applied studies in Tchaikovsky music school in Armenia. She is a cello and chamber music instructor at Hamazkayin art school, Antonine university. She has also organized creative digital music workshop at TUMO Center, Yerevan with numerous musicians such as Tigran Hamasian. Nairy is currently pursuing further studies in Violoncello Barocco at Conservatorio Guido Cantelli di Novara, Italy.
